Fall

The sculpture “Fall” originates in a autumn walk in 2024. It was a November afternoon and I beared witness as a hunter first chased a deer by car, then observed it with flied glasses and shot it from the pathway while I was 20 meters away and approaching him.
From the distance it wasn't obvious that he had a rifle on his tripod so I was shocked hearing the shot this close. Passing by he proudly said that she was a becoming mother and was on her way to leave the spot because she heard me. I was devastated about the situation.
“Fall” shows how I imagined the deer hind laying on the ground in a pool of blood and autumn leafs falling down on her body.
